The USPS releases the WPA Posters Stamps

Ten years ago Cara Cox (a former student and intern) designed a beautiful book called “Posters for the People: Art of the WPA.” Four years ago, Maribel Gray (also former student and current employee) wrote and designed her senior thesis about WPA posters and Modernism. Last month the USPS issued these stamps featuring WPA posters from the Library of Congress collection. Maribel helped design them and Cara was on our mind as we created them. It’s rewarding when former students make important contributions to the work we do in the studio. We hope you like the new stamps!
